Paul Bright is an artist, curator and writer.

He uses collage as an approach across mediums, including paper, sound, video, and performance. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in the US and internationally, and it is held in many public and private collections. Bright's 2022 exhibition Matter of Style (SECCA, now NCMA W-S) surveyed a decade of his work. In 2026, he has presented a 4-channel sound collage ad/con/vection, and another, trasporto, was part of a shared installation for the Oratorio Mazaiolo (near Ferrara, IT).   

Bright has curated exhibitions highlighting a range of artists, including James Rosen, John Cage, Christian Marclay, Kate Shepherd, DUZA, Teju Cole, Robert Motherwell, Liu Xia, Carl Hazlewood, and Terry Adkins. Bright curated Dread Scott’s All African People’s Consulate for the 2024 Venice Biennale. He is a directing partner of interval in Winston Salem, NC.
